Mixed Situations
After the end of WGC-Cadillac Championship, Donald Trump has decided to go for a complete overhaul and the process would begin from Monday onwards. The matter was brought to his notice by none other than the world no. 3 golfer Luke Donald who played pretty wild in the championship. He made double bogey at every day of the championship on the par-four No.18 at Blue Monster. But he is yet to enjoy the benefits and the renovations. And the possibility for a complete change in the No.18 has been turned down b y Donald Trump who said that he would not change it ‘significantly’.
Things are not going quite well for Luke Donald. Recently, he was part of one of the biggest losses at the Accenture Match Play Championship in Tucson. World no. 37 Scott Piercy, a man who is not that well-known in the golf circuit surprised him with 7&6. Being a winner in this tournament in 2011, Luke was regarded as one of the favorites in the match alongside Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods. The low-profiled Piercy made a shot for six under par 30 and nailed it. Luke Donald said, “Scott played very well, I played just very average.”
It was beyond Luke’s expectation that he would be beaten by Scott. He had just returned from a long winter vacation and before that he had defeated the German Marcel Siem by making two birdies hat earned him the winning points. So he ought to show his fresh skills but it went completely out of hand.
Hence it is quite obvious that after the WGC-Cadillac Championship, he would definitely want to improve upon his skills in every way he can. But it is up to Trump whether he would consider the appeal made by Donald.

Luke Donald sticks with Mizuno
Luke Donald didn’t declare his deal extension with his sponsor Mizuno by shooting a funny ad with fellow Mizuno golfer Charles Howell III or at an international press conference. Instead, Luke did it via a small telephone from Florida as he was preparing for the PGA Tour’s thirteenth season.
Speaking of his deal extension, Donald said that he would prefer to stick with what he knows. Luke has been with Mizuno for ten years and he has not been one of the tinker. TO Luke, Mizuno has a kind of family atmosphere. Continue reading “Luke Donald sticks with Mizuno”
